About Course

An oral presentation aimed at educating physicians and healthcare providers at using glucose tolerance tests in a novel way to identify women at risk of stillbirth and other adverse obstetric outcomes. This risk stratification will help to modify antenatal care to optimise health outcomes for both the mother and baby.

What I will learn?

  • * Demonstrate a working knowledge of various current screening protocols for gestational diabetes mellitus and their limitations
  • * Discuss significance of reactive hypoglycaemia and its impact on obstetric care and stillbirth prevention
