Biography

Gar-Way Ma is a third-year medical student at the University of Toronto at the time of this presentation. Prior to medical school, Gar-Way obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.   Beginning in his undergraduate studies, Gar-Way has had a keen interest in clinical research, particularly in surgery and obstetrics and gynecology. His research has can be found in both peer-reviewed journals, and in conference proceedings. As he continues his medical training, he hopes to further his research knowledge and skillset, and integrate his research activity with his clinical practice.  Gar-Way currently resides in his hometown of Toronto, Canada, and enjoys curling and biking in his free time.
